This project consisted of a number of dilapidated cow sheds on the listed Beningbrough Hall Estate. The remit from The National Trust was to strip and dispose of the existing coverings and to refurbish the structures. The coverings chosen were new random Westmorland Slates and County Grade Penrhyn Welsh slates. There were numerous lead box gutters and flat roof details on which we assisted the client on design, then covered in Code 7 lead, in accordance with LDA regulations. The project was a challenge for our team of talented craftsmen but the finished result is a transformation of the buildings and something we are very proud to have been involved in.
